Our Story

We're still working on this part of the website, but here's a little story...

We started the Shrimp Hole in Tamarindo in 2014, just a small 6'x6' shack with three tables by the side of the road. Serving up a selection of international inspired Shrimp and Seafood dishes with local ingredients and tropical flavours our Seafood Streetfood concept was born.

Year by year we've been able to grow thanks to the support of Shrimp and Seafood lovers from around the world. Still in our original location, our restaurant has grown a little more and can now offer you two outdoor seating areas as well as air conditioned indoor seating.

You can enjoy yourself on our original front roadside deck for great people watching in Tamarindo, our more private deck surrounded by palms or our comfortable and cool split level indoor space.
